Baltimore County Police are investigating a shooting in Dundalk that left a man injured.
On Sunday, August 23, at 3:40 p.m., Baltimore County Police responded to an area hospital after an adult male victim came to the facility suffering from a single gunshot wound to the lower body.
The victim told police that he had been walking in the area of New Pittsburg Avenue 21222 when he felt a “burning” in his lower body. He then realized that he had been shot and had someone drive him to the hospital.
The victim is expected to survive his injury.
This incident is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit. Detectives will be working to determine if this was a targeted crime.
