A SUSPECT IN THIS CASE HAS BEEN APPREHENDED
On Thursday, December 8, 2011 at approximately 8:57 am, Harford County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 1300 block of Harford Square Drive,O CourtinEdgewood,MD21040for a report of a woman screaming in the area.
Upon arrival deputies found that the woman in question had discovered a twenty-one year old male deceased in a silver Dodge Magnum parked in the area. Deputies confirmed that the male, identified as Christopher Curtis Alves, was in fact deceased in the vehicle from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. It was determined that the victim is a resident ofEdgewood. At this time, detectives do not believe that the shooting was a random act of violence.
The death is being investigated as a homicide. Harford County Sheriff’s Office detectives are in the early stages of their investigation.
