Baltimore County Police have identified the man that died after being shot in the hallway of a Gwynn Oak Apartment building as 32-year-old Seydina Oumar Soumagel of the 6800 block of Liberty Road 21207.
On Tuesday, January 13 at 10:30 p.m. police responded to the Balmoral Towers apartment building in the 6800 block of Liberty Road 21207 for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered Soumagel lying in a hallway suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was declared deceased at the scene.
This incident is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit. Detectives will be working to determine if this was a targeted crime.
