The Baltimore County Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in connection with several burglaries in the White Marsh area.
Just after noon on September 5th a homeowner returned to her home in the 5600 block of Carrington Drive to find the suspect (pictured) at her front door. The suspect told her he was there to fix her door and fled when she said there was nothing wrong. The homeowner found her front door damaged, her bedroom ransacked, and jewelry missing from the home.
Just before 3:30 p.m. the same day, police responded to another home in the same block for a burglary report. The homeowner told police that sometime between 10:15 a.m. and 2 p.m., someone entered her home through a rear door and took money.
Just after 12:30 p.m. on September 16th, police responded to a home in the 4800 block of King Avenue. The complainant told police someone walked into the vestibule between a home and a garage but then ran from the scene. A door to the home was then found damaged.
Detectives believe the same suspect is responsible for these three incidents. The suspect has reddish-brown hair, a beard, and possibly has tattoos on his left arm. He is believed to be driving a dark colored small vehicle, possibly a Mazda 3 hatchback. Pictures of the suspect were captured on video surveillance during one of the incidents.
These incidents are under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Burglary Unit.
