October 2, 2023, at approximately 4:00 PM, Mr. Jamal Barney was found murdered inside 520 N Payson Street.
Baltimore City Police officers found the body of Mr. Barney, who was 37 years old after a loved one asked for a wellness check.
Police determined the home was vacant, but were able to enter and found the victim, with obvious signs of trauma.
Jamal Barney played basketball at Loyola University back in 2007, leading the MAAC in scoring for many years.
