July 31, 2014 Devin Cook was shot and killed in Northwest Baltimore. Through their investigation Baltimore City Police learned Cook received a phone call and went to the 4700 block of Wilern Avenue with a friend. He had just dropped off another friend, after a lacrosse game in Howard County. When Devin got to Wilern Avenue he met with a male, they talked and at some point the man shot Devin several times. Devin’s friend, who stayed in the car, was also shot but survived his injuries.
