On Sunday, November 16 at 2:40 p.m., Baltimore County Police and Fire personnel responded to the parking lot of a Popeye’s restaurant in the 1800 Block of North Rolling Road 21244 for a report of a stabbing. When they arrived at the scene, officers found an adult male victim suffering from at least one stab wound.
The victim was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he was later pronounced deceased. He has been identified as 24-year-old Reuben Cole Haskins of the 8300 block of Merryview Drive 21244.
The initial investigation into this incident has indicated at the victim was involved in some sort of altercation with the suspect when the suspect stabbed him.
This incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit. Detectives will be working to determine if this was a targeted crime.
