Baltimore County Police are investigating a homicide that occurred on Wednesday, May 28, in Arbutus.
At 11:59 a.m., police responded to a home in the 100 block of Colony Hill Court 21227 to check on a subject. When officers checked the home, they found an adult male lying on the floor suffering from traumatic injuries.
The initial investigation into this incident has indicated that the victim and the suspect had some sort of interaction at the location. During that interaction, the suspect killed the victim.
The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Brandon Edward Joyce of the 100 block of Colony Hill Court 21227.
At this time, detectives have no suspect information and no motive. They will be working to determine if this was a targeted crime.
This incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit.
